Description

Omnidrone SL is a videogame developer focused on tablets and mobile platforms. It is a high-octane blend of technical wizardry and creativity. We are committed to change the mobile space with "Social from the Core" games!

History

Starting point

The story of world's best companies usually starts off with a group of maniacs. Omnidrone was crafted one hot summer in Barcelona by the group of expats from Digital Chocolate that decided to take a stab on a mobile gaming market. All of the founding members had a long history of working in the gaming industry that goes back to 2002 when the CEO, Gerard Fernandez and the Art Director, Elias Lozano co-founded Microjocs - first mobile games developers and publishers in Spain, that later became part of Digital Chocolate.

And then...

Omnidrone was established by ex-Digital Chocolate colleagues, and later formed by developers from other companies (like King, Gameloft, Playfish, Social Point and Wooga). The goal was to create a company of self-directed, motivated and talented people who will make great games together. All of us here are not only experts in our fields, but we are also true gamers. This is what Omnidrone is about. In 2014 Omnidrone has raised $2 million dollars from mobile and game focused VCs (Nokia Growth Partners (NGP), London Venture Partners (LVP) and Kibo Ventures). In 2015 Omnidrone launched its first game - Dwarfs and Dragons. The next project, Titan Brawl, will be live soon!
